A South Texas police chief was found shot to death. The death was ruled a suicide; however, questions remained. Many people refused to talk about his death. The county claimed many details of his death weren’t public knowledge. CHANNEL 5 NEWS reporter Melissa Correa worked to get information from other investigators.
The web features includes extras, such as voicemails left before his death, the autopsy report and statements from family and friends. There’s a timeline of his death, as well as a blog by the reporter, were also posted online.
