Steve McGonigle of the Dallas Morning News was one of Texas’ finest journalists.  He was a two-winner of the Headliners Foundation Charles E. Green Award for Investigative Reporting and a regular participant in our awards and educational events.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Steve’s wife Kristine and children Josh and Kelsey who attended some of our functions, and with Steve’s parents George and Martha Ann McGonigle who are Headliners Club members.  Below is a tribute by Steve’s colleague Joe Simnacher published by the Dallas Morning News.
