“U.S. Highway 281 has had more than 100 accidents in the last year”

It highlights a dangerous highway that students commonly take to get to our school. I get down to the details of why this road has taken so many of Tarleton’s student’s lives. I spoke to a recent graduate who was recently in an accident on the highway investigated.
I filed open records for all crashes and compiled my own data. I also spoke to a couple of individuals who have worked the car crashes.

This piece served as a warning to those who drive on this road and as awareness.
The stretch of the highway that I investigated is now being constructed into a Super 2 highway, where there are two lanes on each side of the highway, making it a lot safer.
