Jane Greig

Community volunteer Jane Greig is involved in a variety of local organizations such as The Settlement Club, Helping Hand Home for Children and the University Catholic Center. Greig holds a Masters of Science in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Texas and worked at the Texas Department of Transportation as a transportation planner before her first retirement. As a lifestyle columnist for four years and the consumer columnist (aka “answer lady”) at the Austin American-Statesman for more than 14 years, Greig honed her journalist skills and won a Dallas Press Club Katie Award for Specialty Features. She is married to attorney Brian Greig, a native Austinite and second generation Headliners member and Club Chairman.
