Diana Fuentes has more than 30 years of journalism experience, rising through the ranks at several newspapers, from police reporter to publisher. Based in San Antonio, she is currently executive director of Investigative Reporters & Editors, the nonprofit that trains journalists across the country. Fuentes is past president of the Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas and Texas AP Managing Editors and continues to serve on those boards. She also is a member and past president of the San Antonio Association of Hispanic Journalists. Diana has a bachelor's from UT-Austin and a master's from Texas State University.
