Alison Unger

Alison Unger joined the Headliners Foundation as Executive Director in 2019. She has more than 25 years of experience in communications, public relations, fundraising, event planning and association management, and has dedicated the majority of her career to non-profit organizations and associations.

Alison got her start writing correspondence for the late Governor Ann Richards. She moved on to the public affairs department at H-E-B Grocery Co., the Paramount Theatre, Meals on Wheels of Central Texas and served as Director of Member Communications at the Texas Trial Lawyers Association for 14 years. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of the Texas Family Law Foundation.

Alison holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Texas at Austin.
