Judge Comments:

Ryan’s work impresses me because it’s so surprising – I don’t see much here that I’ve seen before. Ryan is tremendously engaged with the content and brings that understanding to his pages. Ryan’s best pages are the ones with the strongest composition (Top10 and Ouija) and the least clutter.

TRON: Evokes the feel of the movie and I’m sure was devoured by all the TRON fans!

Eclipse: Another fan feast!

Harry Potter: Too text heavy – the page intimidated me right away. I didn’t know where to start reading and it was hard to figure out which legs of type went together.

Inception: More decoration than information. And the deck head disappears in the maze.

Top 10: So clever! Love the lineup. Love the info boxes. Just wonder why there were 10 new games but only six characters lined up? Also, for the uninitiated, it might have been nice to put a key at the bottom of the page explaining who the six characters are.

Ouija: Another clever spread. Anyone who can do a Halloween package without pumpkins, ghosts and candy has my highest regard!
