Investigative Journalism Spotlights Special Education Deficiencies
April 21, 2017
“Comprehensive” is an apt, but somewhat inadequate adjective when used to describe the depth and breadth of the Houston Chronicle’s multi-part series, “Denied: How Texas Keeps Tens of Thousands of Children Out of Special Education”, led by staff investigative reporter Brian Rosenthal. Join Foundation Chair Mark Morrison and Chronicle lead writer Brian Rosenthal in an interview that discusses how the story developed, where it led and what changes it brought about.
